Horror films

Horror films are movies that strive to extract responses of fear, horror and terror from the viewers/audience. Their plots often involve themes of the supernatural. Horror movies usually include a vital villain in the story line. In the earlier days horror movies were largely based on classic literature of the gothic/ horror genre, such as Dracula (1992), and Frankenstein (1931). Many Horror films have been criticized for their graphic violence that they use and dismissed as low budget B-movies and utilization films.
